"Romeo & Juliet...and Eddie"
ROMEO “Ha, banishment! Be merciful, say “death,”
For exile hath more terror in his look,
Much more than death. Do not say “banishment.”
FRIAR LAWRENCE “Hence from Verona art thou banishèd.
Be patient, for the world is broad and wide.”
ROMEO “There is no world without Verona walls
But purgatory, torture, hell itself.
Hence “banishèd” is banished from the world,
And world’s exile is death. Then “banishèd,”
Trapped in purgatory, Romeo & Juliet must face the consequences of the hasty decisions they made while alive. Centuries have passed and their selfishness and lack of maturity causes them to bicker and blame one another for their untimely deaths. An unexpected visit from a free-spirited rock climber whose death is mistaken for suicide helps them to appreciate the life they had and ultimately purify their soul.
